Today I want to show you some of the Loose constructions,
and pls help me to turn them into the periodic constructions
if you have any leisure time.
here they are:
1.The history of English words is the history of our civilization in many ways.
2.She was offered a professional contract after winning the Olympic gold medal for figure skating, according to newspaper reports.
3.There have been many great discoveries made by scientists in the twentieth century.
4.The course was not very difficult, although I didn’t receive a high grade.
5.He felt that the world had come to an end when he wasn’t chosen for the football team.
6.It requires steady nerves to do the job safely.
7.The plane began to shake noticeably as soon as it lifted off the runway.
8.She filled a bucket with water to pot off the fire.
